Weight Loss Meals - September 12th, 2011

weight loss mealsHave you ever found yourself thinking that the only way to lose weight is by completely depriving yourself of everything you love until you’ve starved yourself into those skinny jeans?

Well it’s time to change that attitude!

The truth is there are plenty of ways to lose weight while eating foods you love—everyday! Although we don’t have a magic spell for you to make all your meals healthy, we have some ideas to help you shave calories off your diet without making you miserable.

Here is a sample of one day’s menu to help get you thinking in the healthy, but happy, dieting mode:

Breakfast

Stop limiting yourself to one cup of black coffee. If you need coffee to get your engines revving then go ahead, but be sure to pair your meal with something hearty and healthy so that your metabolism starts revving too.

Try an egg white omelet with roasted peppers and zucchinis—plenty of fiber and protein to keep you full for a long time.

Lunch

Go Mediterranean and try a pita sandwich. Pitas are generally smaller, with less carbs, than normal bread slices and they also help you out by limiting how much you can stuff them with.

For the stuffing, opt for something high in protein, like tuna or canned chicken, but make sure you’ve paired it with high fiber vegetables like celery or flavorful fruits like grapes. This will not only vary the texture and flavor to excite your mouth, but it will help add volume and satiety to your stomach.

Dinner

Thought that losing weight meant never having fried foods again? You thought wrong! You can get the same flavor and texture from chicken without frying it in all the calorie-laden grease by faux-frying your chicken.

Start by marinating your chicken in buttermilk for about an hour; then batter it in potato flakes and flour, as well as some salt and pepper. Then you’ll throw the chicken in a greased, nonstick pan until golden brown and you’ll be surprised that your crispy, moist, breaded chicken didn’t come from the colonel himself.

Try a Weight Loss Supplement

Some of us just don’t seem to have the genetics that others seem to when it comes to weight loss, making it a lot harder for us to shed those extra pounds.

But this doesn’t mean that you have to be trapped in your overweight body forever! We’ve found some weight loss supplements that have proven to be both safe and effective for those tough extra pounds.

The one that has impressed us the most is IrvingiAppress. Based mainly on the powers of African Mango, IrvingiAppress has helped many people lose weight by helping them eat less and burning more fat.

Just remember, that dieting doesn’t, and shouldn’t, have to be miserable!
